In 2016, Barry and Karen retired and moved here to paradise from Henderson, Nevada. Along with them came their 15 dogs, 7 horses, and 18 chickens. All but three were rescue dogs and most of the horses were rescued. They moved here for the wide open spaces and room for the animals. There was still enough space to build a wood shop for Barry and a lavender patch for Karen. So much for retirement...
